Are there different themes for each of the weeks that JA BizCamp is offered?
No, the same curriculum, although we are very aware of those campers who are joining us for a second week, offering alternatives when possible.
Do the students go over the same information each week? I am trying to understand the benefit of signing up for multiple weeks or is JA Biz Camp intended for a one week session only?
Perhaps the best validation to our camp is the number of campers that choose a 2nd or 3rd week in the same summer or choose to come back for several years. We have a loyal alumni and they "age out" before they lose interest. Campers who join us for a 2nd week are able to choose the business in which they would like to work that week which will vary the simulation experience. On Monday mornings the camper will choose to go the invention or business plan route. A 2nd week, that same child may choose the other; for instance, develop a business plan for the invention he/she created the first week. Also, a different group of campers changes the week for all of us.
