What happens at JA BIZCAMP®?

  • Mornings are devoted to entrepreneur and philanthropic topics

  • Each afternoon campers work within their own city, taking on real life roles.

  • Financial literacy (i.e., saving, credit usage, budgeting, and managing the tools of the trade) and Work-Readiness Skills are infused throughout the entire camp day.

All sessions listed below are for the 2007 summer and space is limited:

  • June 11th - June 15th

  • June 25th - June 29th

  • July 9th - July 13th

  • July 16th - July 20th

  • July 23rd - July 27th

  • True life stories of entrepreneurs and inventors will be shared as campers plot the course for their own invention and/or entrepreneurial businesses

  • By week’s end, they will brainstorm, design, create, patent and market an invention or business of their own

  • JACI will invite campers to imagine what Indianapolis would look like if every building funded by individual donors were suddenly to disappear.
