What is JA BizTown™?
It's a Program! It's a Place! It's JA BizTown™! Elementary School students are not old enough to drive, work, date, or be the boss. But that does not stop them from yearning to experience some of the things of adulthood. But how? Where? Simple! Through the JA BizTown experience!
	That's right! Thousands of 5th grade students throughout central Indiana have the opportunity to run a bank, manage a restaurant, read utility meters, write checks, and even to vote as they experience JA BizTown -- the new Elementary School Capstone Program of JA Worldwide(R). JA BizTown combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to the Gene B. Glick JA Education Center, where JA BizTown is housed. This is a fully interactive, true to life, simulated experience where students learn the fundamental relationship between academics and life beyond school.
